At Apogee Mississauga, we believe that learning to do, learning to be, and learning to learn are more important than memorization alone – learning to know.
What skills do you need to change the world? Every day we're standing in the shoes of doctors, designers, presidents, and builders, learning the skills and tools that heroes have mastered. We call it a Quest.
The world is changing fast. The skills of tomorrow aren't the skills of today. Take with you a DIY toolbox of curiosity, grit, trial-and-error, joy, and perseverance. You've confronted new things before. You can learn anything.
No other accomplishment matters unless you've built a life you're proud of. Have you become a good person? What relationships have you nurtured? What habits have become part of your character?
Build a solid foundation of traditional academics – and even more importantly, a clear "why?". Master writing and grammar because storytelling can change the world. Dive deep into biology because you intend to cure cancer.

01
Socratic Discussions
The socratic method emphasizes asking questions and engaging in dialogue, which helps students develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. This approach encourages students to think deeply, analyze different perspectives, and come to well-reasoned conclusions.
02
Project-based learning + Engagement
Real world skills are developed through project-based and experiential learning, where our young leaders will see the practical applications of their studies. Each 5-6 week sprint has a unique project that culminates in a capstone presentation to Apogee parents and the community.
03
Physiology + Fitness
Physiology and fitness are at the heart of our program. We believe that kids need to understand how their bodies function before moving onto optimizing them. Our education includes daily physiology lessons followed by movement and fitness.
04
Learner-Driven
Our young heroes set, track and achieve individualized academic goals with the support of coaches. In addition, learners get to identify the technology and systems they use to learn – from interactive online learning platforms to classic books – they decide.
05
Discovery & Development through Free Play
Kids need play. Our young heroes will have the freedom to discover and develop the interests that ignite each individual child through free play in a conducive environment. Our leaders will be free to move their bodies throughout the day and encouraged to do so during multiple ‘free play’ periods. Imagination and play is critical to learning.
06
Responsibilities & Community
Our young leaders build the campus from day one. They’ll identify everything- from a values system with accountability to a mascot. Leaders at our campus will outline responsibilities, perform them daily and even get rewarded for their hard work, with a monetary system they create.
“It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to
have tried to succeed.”
Noun: the highest point in the development of something; a climax or culmination
We aspire to guide and equip our young leaders to reach the greatest heights of their potential. We believe that education should be for the entire family and that children develop a lifelong love for learning when given the time and permission to fail forward, pursue specific interests, collaborate with others and master real-life skills.
